Máy chủ Dell PowerEdge HS5610 có thể được trang bị tối đa 10 thiết bị lưu trữ SAS, SATA hoặc NVMe 2,5 inch. Tùy chọn khung máy 3,5 inch hỗ trợ 4 ổ cứng SAS, SATA hoặc SSD ở phía trước. Có tùy chọn lắp thêm 2 ổ SAS, SATA, NVMe 2,5 inch nữa vào lồng ổ đĩa phía sau. Để hỗ trợ hệ điều hành, Dell cung cấp Hệ thống lưu trữ được tối ưu hóa khởi động hay BOSS, hỗ trợ 1 hoặc 2 ổ NVMe M.2. 2 ổ có thể được định cấu hình ở chế độ phản chiếu, RAID 1, để dự phòng. Tùy thuộc vào cấu hình, có một số PSU để lựa chọn, từ 700W đến 1100W Titanium.

Ở mặt sau của máy chủ, một card LOM cung cấp 1GbE với hai cổng RJ45. Ngoài ra, có thể lắp card mezzanine OCP 3.0 tùy chọn và cung cấp nhiều tùy chọn về tốc độ liên kết và cổng. Nếu lắp tùy chọn 6 ổ đĩa 2,5 inch, sẽ có thêm 2 khe cắm card OCP 3.0 ở mặt trước của khung máy, cùng với khe cắm BOSS-N1 để hỗ trợ hệ điều hành. Ngoài ra còn có tùy chọn cài đặt Quick Sync 2 ở mặt trước của hệ thống để sử dụng với Ứng dụng di động OpenManage của Dell dành cho điện thoại thông minh hoặc máy tính bảng và tương thích với cả hệ điều hành Android và iOS.
